Visitors Description : Shree Suraya Narayana Swamy Temple (popularly known as Surayanarayana Temple) situated in Domlur, Bangalore was built in 1995. The temple is beautifully built by skilled and crafty artisan in Chola style in rock granite. Though the temple is dedicated to Sun God, idols of all Gods greet the devotees as they enter the temple courtyard. The simple reason behind this is that whosoever visits this temple, should not go away disappointed, not seeing the god he/she worships. A very good thought given by Shri Patel D. R Krishna Reddy, the builder of this temple. We find Vaishnavi, Brahma, Nagaraja, Ugranarasimha, Saraswathi, Panchamukhi Ganesha, besides Surya and reclining Adiseshasayi, benignly showering their benevolence to the mortals below. Thematic representation of Shanimahatme, Ramapattabhishekha, and Anjaneya Viswaroopa are also to be seen. The temple attracts many visitors every day besides on fairs and festivals. The temple is not so much crowded as seen in other temples, thus we can rate this as "very calm and peaceful religious place" to visit.
